6th Chess Open


The 6th Chess Open on Kudle beach is held again at the Namaste Yoga Farm from Friday the 5th March 2010. Playing 3 or 4 rounds  depending on how much players. Starting fee is 200 rupees. Winner takes 60%, second 30% and third 10% of the pot (starting fees of all players). U find us on the hill of Kudle beach on the way to Gokarna. Almost up the hill enter through the big blue gate and follow the sign to the reception.

You are warmly invited to join us at Namaste Yoga Farm for a 7-14 day comprehensive retreat or just for accommodation in a peaceful location in our 3 acre idyllic natural setting with ocean view. Designed for those interested in the rich spiritual traditions of India. The course is kriya inspired and includes daily yoga exercices, meditation, breathing and relaxation techniques, contemplative walks and lectures to promote the integrated health of body, mind and spirit.

Opportunities are provided as well for quiet relaxation in our huge garden, the surrounding jungle and on the nearby beaches. During free time, participants are also encouraged to meet with our experienced teachers for spiritual guidance and for individual instructions in the hatha and kriya yoga traditions.

We have designed the course as an uplifting and enjoyable retreat that gives you practical tools for continuing your yoga experience. Through a long-term yoga practice you can gain mastery over the mind and body, enhace your spiritual evolution or otherwise achieve your personal goals for health, growth and well-being.

15-20 students weekly on the new yoga deck was worth the effort to build this new yoga deck in november 2009. This 11th course was held end of february 2010 with 20 students from all over the world. Thank You for supporting us.

Regular Hatha/Sivananda yoga courses (Kriya philosophy inspired) start every Monday to Friday from 8am to 9.30am .until  March 29. begins the last course for the season 2009/2010

Focusing on breathing, flowing stretches, deep relaxation, yoga nidra, visualisation, readings and classic yoga postures are practiced in a most gentle approach and with individual corrections.

Every "buddy" is welcomed to the classes. The level of tuition is adjusted to the experience of the students.

Yoga - Lead your own Retreat/Course

Yoga Instructors, have you always wanted to lead a yoga Course/Retreat?
There is NO CHARGE for instructors with groups bigger then 12 students. The rate includes all meals, accommodations and the use of one yoga deck. Breakfast gets served from our vegetarian kitchen and the best catering service in town provides lunches and dinners. Non-vegetarian options are not available.....

Winner Oliver Miguel of 5th Chess Open on Kudle beach that was held at the Namaste Yoga Farm last weekend . I came out with 3 points out of 3 rounds and played a tough final against Marcela a strong spanish player. In a few weeks there will be the last chess open this season so check once in a while for information or u find us on the hill of Kudle beach on the way to Gokarna. Almost up the hill enter through the big blue gate and follow the sign to the reception.

Hampi was great as ever. Living at Mowglis and doing yoga at the Goan corner with Chidanand an indian teacher. Day time we spend on the lake and night time just strolling around Hampi. Anyway, best place is home at the yoga farm. bum shiva

This years treehouse again is on the holly banyan tree just a bit bigger and with a second higher lever for sleeping called the room of the million stars. The view is amazing.... overlooking the arabian ocean and in the night the moon is shining in your face. Meditation classes and advanced breathing techniques start weekends at 6 am from friday to sunday in the tree.
