The distance to the airport is about 150km, about a 3.5 hour drive. 70 Euro with a taxi from Goa airport to Gokarna, if we organize the trip. In Goa, going to a taxi stand, it is more expensive and the driver doesnt know how to find our place, plus our driver waits even the flight is a few hours late.
Yes, it is an international airport and there are direct flights to Goa in the main season from November to March. Namaste Yoga Farm’s accommodations include: Breakfast for 2 persons, wifi (wlan) 30Mbp’s fibre optic cable, access to a refrigerator, chairs and tables, yoga & meditation classes for 2 persons twice daily, bicycles for guests, a laptop and 2 cell phones you can borrow, electric water kettle for hot water, 24/7 silenced power back-up, 24/7 security on-site, mattress, 4 pillows each room, bed sheets and blankets, daily fresh towels, toilett paper, free drinking water, daily room cleaning, hot shower outside and we stamp and send your postcards.
We don’t have televisions, but we show a movie on Saturday night on our big flatscreen in the chill-out area.
You can always have a glas of wine at Namaste Yoga Farm or a beer on the beach. For late night party you would have to go to Palolem/Goa and it would take about 2 hours with a taxi. The driver would wait and bring you back in the morning.
No, there is no shuttle bus service available. However, we can provide a taxi service or Ricksaw for you.
Meals are served in the garden under the banyan tree at the chill-out place . We prepare breakfast ourself, but use the best vegetarian catering service in town for lunches and dinners, if you are a big group staying at least 7 days with us. Breakfast will only be served from 8am to 10.30 pm.
No we dont, but on the property is a 3rd party run restaurant which do room service too.
No, it is pure vegetarian. On requests for yoga retreats we do serve poultry and fish some days. Vegan can be an option. We have home-made tofu, soymilk and cheese.
The dress code is casual, relaxed clothing.
Yes, there is a small festive program of activities and special breakfast during holidays.
