The ambiance was so unique and relaxing; the place feels like a getaway tucked in the hills of Gokarna just minutes from the beach. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even allowed us to sleep in the common area/room and use the shared bathroom facilities as we came in very, very early the day of our stay since we took an overnight bus from Hampi. The daily morning breakfast was delightful and tasty; the best we’ve had in India so far. The two owners – Oliver and Luisa – go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They put a lot of love and attention into the place and it shows. Plus, one of their dogs – Poopa – is the cutest. We stayed in the Holiday cottage; it was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the open air windows and waking up to the forest sounds.

It’s like my second home in India and it’s always a good start to go there. The stuff are friendly and helpful and the most of time happy. The breakfast is awesome and the new outdoor kitchen is super cool with handmade fresh food from Luisa:-). She has the heart on the right Place!
