At Namaste Yoga Farm in Gokarna, some of our most distinctive accommodations are gently elevated among the trees. Our handcrafted treehouses offer a rare opportunity to reconnect with nature while enjoying comfort, privacy, and a deeply grounding sense of retreat.
Built with sustainability and harmony in mind, the treehouses are designed to blend into the surrounding landscape rather than dominate it. Throughout the day and night, guests are accompanied by the sound of the ocean, audible 24 hours a day, creating a constant and calming backdrop that many experience as deeply meditative.
Instead of a conventional balcony, each treehouse opens onto a large wooden platform, which forms an integral part of the structure. The entire platform is set on five solid plywood boards, providing stability while maintaining a light, elevated feeling among the trees. This open platform serves as an extension of the living space and is ideal for sitting, reading, meditation, or quiet observation.
Inside, the treehouses are simple yet thoughtfully equipped. Each unit includes an electrical power outlet, a fan, a mosquito net and an additional futon on the platform to ensure a comfortable night’s sleep. A small lockable metal box is also provided so personal belongings can be stored safely and remain protected from curious monkeys.
There is no air-conditioning by design. Instead, the elevated position of the treehouses, combined with natural ventilation and coastal breezes, creates a refreshingly cool environment while preserving the ecological integrity of the space.
Treehouse stays are particularly appreciated by guests seeking immersion and stillness—solo travelers, couples, and yoga practitioners who value simplicity, sensory awareness, and a close connection to nature. Despite the secluded feeling, all facilities of Namaste Yoga Farm remain within easy walking distance, including the seasonal daily yoga classes (1 November – 31 March), nourishing breakfasts, the plunge pool, and the shaded path leading to Kudle Beach.
Our treehouses are not merely accommodations; they are an invitation to slow down, listen, and live closer to nature—supported by thoughtful essentials, without unnecessary distractions.

Good to know: From 1 November through 31 March, yoga is complimentary for guests who book directly – one class a day per guest, depending on space and prior arrangement. Booking through a platform? Please ask us first – complimentary yoga is only included if we have confirmed it before you book. Outside this period, Namaste Yoga Farm operates primarily as peaceful holiday accommodation without scheduled complimentary yoga classes. Guests do not need to practise yoga to stay.
